LoRita Gentile Poliski Tuesday, October 5, 1937 - Sunday, April 16, 2017

LoRita Gentile Poliski, 79, of West Chester died Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Chester County Hospital. Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Nicola and Millie Close Gentile. She was the wife of Leon Joseph Poliski with whom she would have celebrated 56 years of marriage in June. She was a 1955 graduate of Henderson High School. LoRita was a lifelong member of St. Agnes Church, West Chester. She worked for Bell Telephone at the Test Center and was a bookkeeper for Ophthalmic Consultants, West Chester for 21 years. LoRita enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and doing crossword puzzles. In addition to her husband, LoRita is survived by her daughter Sherri Werner and her husband Richard of Center Valley, two sons: Mark Poliski and his wife Lisa of Lititz and Matthew Poliski and his wife Amy of Chester Springs; 6 grandchildren: Megan Werner, Sarah, Stephen, Maria, Anthony, and Nicole Poliski and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Catherine Anne Poliski, and two brothers Dr. Nicholas C. Gentile and Richard J. Gentile. LoRita’s funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, April 20, 2017 St. Agnes Church at 10:00 am with visitation beginning at 9:00am. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester. Memorials in LoRita’s honor may be made to American Heart Association One Penn Center at Suburban Station 1617 JFK Boulevard, Ste. 700 Philadelphia, PA 19103 or to St. Agnes Church 233 W Gay St, West Chester, PA 19380.

So sad to hear of Aunt LoRita's passing.  She was such a beautiful person inside and out.  Uncle Joe and family you have our deepest sympathy.
